A history of Britain (7): The body of the Queen

Her wedding band, Elizabeth was married to England for 45 years. Mary, Queen of Scots, was her lifetime Nemesis. The two women, their lives and their struggle for the crown of England, are the subject of the 7th episode of the A history of Britain-series.

Elizabeth, the virgin-Queen, played and important role in the stabilization of religious and political turmoil in the country.
