Apocalypse (2): The Führer

This documentary focuses on the ascent of Hitler to total power. It starts with economic crisis of the 1929 and the devastating effect it had on the Germans, shattering the belief in the democratic Weimar Republic. The popularity of Hitler grew in the following years, giving him the opportunity to take over power in Germany. His manipulation of right-wing politicians and the compulsion and repression of left-wing politicians is the main focus of this second episode of the Apocalypse-series.
