Kenya: White Terror

The Mau Mau rebellion in Kenya (1952-1960) is one of the bloodiest colonial wars fought in Africa. Black Kenyans wanted to oust the British oppressors and attacked white colonists. The British response was brutal. They send in the army, set up camps and tortured and killed thousands. In this documentary, the survivors are interviewed (for the first time). They tell about their gruesome experiences.
